What to expect from Overture PLA-CF
Carbon-fibre PLA prints at PLA-like temperatures but the abrasive fibres are what matter — every brand will destroy a brass nozzle. A hardened steel nozzle is mandatory regardless of brand.
🔎 CF-PLA is stiffer and has a premium matte look, but it is not "stronger" in every sense — it’s more rigid and slightly more brittle. Great for parts that must not flex, less good for parts that take impacts.

FAQ
What temperature should I print Overture PLA-CF at?
Start around 215°C hotend and 60°C bed, then run a temperature tower across 205–230°C. Overture PLA prints clean at 200–210°C; Overture PETG is reliable around 240°C once dried.
Is Overture PLA-CF good quality?
Very consistent diameter for the price — a safe first spool for beginners. As always, dry the spool if you see stringing or popping and calibrate flow before judging a brand.
Do I need to dry Overture PLA-CF?
Usually not, but if a spool has sat in humid air and strings badly, a few hours of drying helps.
