Rule of thumb: PLA prints coolest (~190–220°C), PETG and ABS/ASA sit in the middle (230–260°C), and engineering materials like nylon and polycarbonate run hottest (260–300°C+) and usually need an all-metal hotend.

How to use these temperatures
- Start at the typical temperature (the white dot) for your material.
- Print a temperature tower across the range to find the lowest temp with strong layer bonding.
- Set the bed to the value in the table; drop it 5°C if the first layer over-adheres (common with PETG).
- Adjust cooling: high fan for PLA, low for PETG, none for ABS/ASA.
