How do I measure shrinkage?
Print a known-size calibration cube (e.g. 100 mm), measure the real dimension with calipers, and shrinkage % = (modelled − measured) / modelled × 100.
Typical shrinkage values?
PLA ~0.2–0.3%, PETG ~0.4%, ABS/ASA ~0.5–0.8%, nylon ~1–2%. Always measure your own filament — brands differ.
