What to expect from Prusament Polycarbonate
Polycarbonate blends (PC, PC-ABS, PC-Max) trade some heat resistance for printability. Pure PC is the most demanding: very high temps, an all-metal hotend and a hot, enclosed chamber are non-negotiable.
🔎 PC is layer-adhesion sensitive — it looks like it printed fine, then delaminates under stress if the chamber was too cool. Heat and enclosure aren’t optional extras here; they’re what makes the part actually strong.
